Following a daily routine in Rune Factory 5 (RF5) can help your character level up quicker, improve stats and skills more efficiently, and help you keep track of friendship levels and perks. Read on for our recommended list of things to do every day and how to prioritize accomplishing them!

Progress Through the Main Story
Progressing through the main story unlocks new maps and shows new residents occupying Rigbarth. Likewise, making game progress unlocks other game features such as mini-games and events, among others.

Level Up When You Have Free Time
Enemies and dungeons become increasingly tougher to deal with, so we highly recommend leveling up after checking off your daily priorities. Be sure to level up your character, the members involved in your party, and your companion monster.

Grow Crops
Not only can harvested crops can be used for cooking, they can help you win the seasonal Harvest Festival. Crop cultivation takes time and effort, so make sure you are always on top of maintaining your farms.

Get Help From Tamed Monsters

Monsters with a high friendship level can help you with your arm tasks. Raise them daily to increase your productivity!
How to Raise Friendship Level with Monsters
Collect Wood and Stone
Wood and stone are used to set up monster huts and to expand facilities in Palmo Studio. We recommend collecting wood and stone daily to prevent running out of these essential materials.
After gathering wood and stone, you may store them in the wood or stone case that you can get by clearing the third request at the start of the game.

It is also important to take care of companion monsters every day. The better they are taken care of, the higher the level of by-products they produce.

These monsters give great materials for selling and cooking. Get them when you unlock the monster barn to get more money and cook better food!
Defeat Enemy Bosses
Defeat the bosses in each area every day. The material dropped by these bosses can be used as crafting material or it can be sold at a high price at shops.
Buy or Learn Bread Recipes
You can buy bread recipes when you purchase bread at bakeries and restaurants. Likewise, you can learn certain bread recipes by simply eating them. If you have the right ingredients, you will be able to make your own.
There is a limit to the number of bread recipes you can buy daily, so get them if you have money to spare.

Raise Friendship Level
To raise your friendship level with villagers, consistently talk to them and give them their favorite food daily. You can also clear requests to help raise friendship level with residents. Attaining a high enough friendship level with villagers unlocks added perks that can make the game all the more fun and easier.
How to Raise Friendship Level with Villagers
Take Baths to Increase Bathing Skill
Taking a bath daily improves your bathing skills while increasing your character's maximum HP, RP, and physical strength. We recommend you take a bath every day, especially after doing your morning farming tasks.
Eat Food to Increase Eating Skill
Eating food at least once a day, whether it is your own cooking or from a restaurant, increases your Eating Skill. This will increase your maximum RP and other related stats.
Sleep to Increase Sleeping Skill
Sleeping before 6:00 PM recovers your HP and RP. It will also increase your Sleeping Skill which raises your maximum RP and other related stats.

You can use the example schedule above to go about your day-to-day routine. Feel free to break free from this schedule if you need to do timed events like Festivals or Romance Events.
