The Serendipity, also known as the General Store, is a shop in Rigbarth where players can purchase multiple items from such as Seeds, ready-to-eat items that can also be used for Cooking Recipes, as well as Vegetables and Fish.
With the exception of Hina, who is the only one capable of selling you Fish in the store, all other Clerks present will sell you most of the basic goods you would need.
At the start of the game, when visiting the Serendipity (known only as the General Store at that point), players will only have Terry available as the store's sole clerk from which they can buy items from.
Later on, Terry will move out of the store and start Terry's Detective Agency, allowing both Misasagi and Hina to later move in. An event in the game also lets you choose who to send to work at the store between Lucy and Priscilla, with your chosen character acting as the "third" Clerk.
Every Friday of the week, the store will have a 10% Discount on all items for sale. For days where players will need to buy plenty of products, particularly Seeds, Friday is the best time to do it owing to the fact that prices are generally cheaper.
When buying seeds at the store, you have the potential of buying higher level Seeds to, in turn, raise high-level Crops. This helps to save time for players who wish to have access to the larger benefits that high level Crops bring, as they will not have to harvest levelled Seeds from planted Crops themselves.
Shipping a fully grown Crop that is currently not available in the store will unlock it, making it available for purchase.
