Building a Monster Barn will allow you to interact with the various monsters you encounter in Rune Factory 5 (RF5). Continue reading to learn more about how to get a Monster Barn, as well as Max Monster Barn Capacity, and what you can do with your tamed monsters.
You are able to get a Monster Barn after completing the Build a Monster Barn request posted on the Task Board.
Step | Explanation |
---|---|
1 | Accept Ryker's request: Build a Monster Barn Appears after a certain amount of requests |
2 | Put pieces of Material Stones and 30 Lumber in the Lumber/Stone Box |
3 | Go to Studio Palmo and talk to either Palmo or Ryker |
4 | Select I'd like to renovate something. |
5 | Purchase a monster barn for 200P |
6 | Name your monster barn |
7 | A monster barn will be setup on the Earth Dragon |
A basic Monster Barn can hold a total of 4 monsters. You will not be able to tame new monsters if you do not have any space in your Monster Barn, so make sure to either release monsters, or renovate your Monster Barn when you can.
Like other buildings in Rigbarth, you can go to Studio Palmo to renovate your Monster. As with other renovations, you need enough Lumber, Materials Stones, Money, and SEED Points to order the renovations.
Entering the Monster Barn allows you to interact with your monster and issue various commands.
Take a monster with you to the Field
Farm Items
Assign Field Chores
Change Nickname
Send to Forest of Beginnings
|
A monster will fight alongside you in the field if you choose to take it along with you. You are also able to ride some monsters, which is often faster than running.
Monsters will also be available to do Field Chores! Once your friendship reaches a level of 3 or higher, you can assign them to work.
You can change your monster's nickname whenever you want. A good option to consider if you plan to tame more than one of the same monster.
You can release any monsters that you have caught by sending them to the Forest of Beginning. Think carefully before doing so, as you will not be able use them again.
