Whispering Woods	The story starts with the protagonist appearing in an unknown land without a memory of their past. Meet and get to know the residents of the small town of Rigbarth as you begin your new life as a member of SEED.
Belpha Ruins	According to Livia, Rigbarth's Rune Energy hasn't been ciuculating properly as of late. To investigate the origin of this diturbance you have been tasked to examine ruins located in the town.
Kelve Lava Caves	To get Scarlett's approval for making you an official SEED Ranger, you have to complete the next mission before she does.
Meline Crystal Caverns	A man with Amnesia named Lucas has appeared in Rigbarth. He asks you to investigate the Meline Crystal Mines, as he believes it may hold a clue as to the cause of his memory loss.
Atohl's End	You must head to the cursed land of Atohl's End to search for an escaped criminal.
Gadeus Grasslands	Monsters rampaging on Gadeus Grasslands are affecting the flow of supplies and making it difficult for tourists to enter Rigbarth. You must handle the situation without SEED's help!
Bandit King's Old Base	The thief Oswald asks for your help in rescuing a friend and fellow thief. Head to the Bandit King's Old Base to help him out.
Belpha Ruins - Depths	The effects of the rune disruptions began to show in Rigbarth. Head to the depths of Belpha Ruins and retrieve what Livia needs to control them!
Meline Crystal Caverns - Depths	The rune disruption at Meline Crystal Caverns caused the waters near Rigbarth to freeze. Head down to its depths and stabilize the runes using a rune crystal!
Kelve Lava Caves - Depths	Take another rune crystal and bring it to the depths of Kelve Lava Caves where another rune spot is located.
Forest of No Return	Bring the fourth rune crystal to the deepest area of Whispering Woods, the Forest of No Return, and stabilize the rune spot within.
Everlasting Darkness	In order to save Rigbarth, you have to step inside the Everlasting Darkness and stop Radea from absorbing all the rune energy!
Basara's Hideaway	Oswald might have holed up inside the secret hideout of the legendary Basara. Find him and ask about how to reach Gideon's floating fortress!
Thundering Wastes	You found out that Lucas can actually teleport people with his trick, but only to a short distance. See if a lightning strike can jog his memories to somehow amplify this ability.
Cloudheim	You finally reached the top of the clouds. SEED's headquarters is now within reach!
SEED Floating Fortress	You arrive at Gideon's floating fortress. Traverse its complex interior and search for the magic circle!
Calamity's Edge	Find a way to Calamity's Edge and defeat The Fathomless Dread to save Rigbarth and the rest of the world!
Rigbarth Maze	Unlock the entrance to Rigbarth Maze and face the game's ultimate challenge!

Basic Tips for Story Progression

Explore the map. When having trouble with bosses, spend time to grind. Actively complete requests. Tend to Farming and Harvesting tasks daily. Purchase Recipe Breads daily. Rest on your bed.

Beginner's Guide to Rune Factory 5

Explore the Map

Exploring the map is essential for advancing the story. Treasure Chests that can be found may also contain valuable equipment such as strong weapons or runes. The more you explore, the easier your adventure might be.

Spend Time to Grind

If you feel that enemies are getting out of hand, your character's level might be falling behind. Going back to earlier areas to earn EXP by defeating lower-levelled opponents can help you level up and have a better chance in combat.

You can also consider adjusting difficulty settings by speaking with Eliza in town.

Actively Complete Requests

The bulletin board by your home will be a place where you can receive requests from the different residents of Rigbarth. Completing these quests allows you to earn items and tools that will come in handy as you progress the story. Eventually, it will also allow you to increase the number of shops and facilities available in town.

Farm and Harvest Daily

At the start of every in-game day, spend time to clean up your farmland and tend to your crops. This allows for a steady and consistent source of materials and food which can become useful for crafting and earning money. Consistent cultivation also lets you increase your level and grant you EXP across different skills.

Buy Recipe Bread Daily

If you have the money for it, try to buy Recipe Bread from the bakery and restaurants in town. This will let you unlock recipes for things you might need such as weapons, medicine, or tools.

Since the number of Recipe Breads you can purchase per day are limited, it would be best to buy some whenever you can.

Rest in Your Bed

If you don't see a red objective marker anywhere on your map which indicates your next destination to progress the story, you might need to call it a day and rest on your bed. This usually loads new events in the game, allowing you to advance the main quests and even individual character questlines!
