How to Complete Ace of Carapace

How to Begin

After completing Burden of Expectation and A Stroll for Two quests, talk to the Arms Merchant in Lestallum to begin this sidequest.

How to Get a Bulette Carapace

To obtain Bulette Carapace, open your map and choose the Ace of Carapace quest. Then, travel to the locations and follow what's on your mini-map. Once you reached the spot, defeat the Bulettes surrounding the area. Don't worry about the drop rate, it is 100%, and you will surely get a Bulette Carapace once you defeat one.

Defeat a Bulette

Defeating Bulettes in this area is quite easy because they are only at Level 14. However, if you are having a difficult time defeating them, you can try striking them from behind. If you run out of MP, you can take a distance and hide behind the small house.

Talk to the Arms Merchant

Once you obtain Bulette Carapace, return to Lestallum and speak with the Arms Merchant and hand over the Bulette Carapace to finish this sidequest.
