List of Objectives
1 FFXV_Party of Four_story walkthrough Continue on your path out of the area after clearing it of Imperials. A ledge will give way, however, dragging you into the battle with the Archaean.
2 Face off against the Titan! Block its attacks while countering to deal damage to its arm.
3 After dealing enough damage, the Titan will fall. A cutscene will reveal that the Oracle--Noct's beloved--spoke with it before him.
4 After defeating the Titan, the group will find themselves trapped on a ledge sinking to the lava. Ardyn will once again come to the rescue.
5 FFXV_Noctis Mark of Titan_story walkthrough Noctis will also receive the Mark of the Archaean for besting the Titan.

Tips and Strategies

This is a list of important things to do in the quest The Trial of Titan. Read on to find out which of them is crucial to proceeding.

  • Long press the Square button to block any attack, while press the Circle button immediately to counter. The battle with the Archaean will give you plenty of time to practice.
  • Remember how Fire-element based enemies are weak against Ice-element based weapons and spells? That is true with this battle.
  • Noctis will receive the first of six marks in this battle. The Archaean will now aid him in battle should he need it.
