Scan When It Turns Invisible
Mutated Hydras can instantly turn invisible and obscure itself from Eve's view. By doing this, it will be hidden and will be doing surprise attacks.
The workaround for this is by scanning the environment so that you can see it when it becomes out of sight.
Dodge Its Attacks
One of Mutated Hydra's attacks are charge attacks, meaning it goes away from a distance and charge you with its sharp tentacles. Dodging this is key to avoid damage.
Use Your Gun
Since Mutated Hydra tends to prefer long distance battles, using your Gun is actually the best strategy to deal with it.

Rewards Money and SP
Upon defeating Mutated Hydra, you can be rewarded with Money and Skill Points (SP). Money is used for purchasing items from the Shop while SP is used for unlocking Skills.
