Collect 800 Coins

After destroying the boulder while playing the Back 9 of Balmy Dunes, you can walk into the food stall in the first area of the country club. The food stall is located right beside the shop and near the front desk. As you approach, the patrons will thank you for destroying the boulder, and the shopkeeper will reward you with 800 free coins.

How to Clear this Course

Speed is the name of the game when it comes to the different courses of Balmy Dunes. In the Practice Round of Speed Golf, you need to complete all three holes before running out of water. It is recommended to wear the Cool Attire in this course to slow down water loss.

How to Clear this Course

Similar to Practice Round, the Training Round also requires you to finish all the holes before your water level runs out. Aside from wearing Cool Attire, we also recommend other clothing that could enhance speed and adding more points to your speed stat.

How to Clear this Course

Unlike the first two practice courses, the Back 9 no longer uses water level to speed up the game but a time limit. Each set of three holes must be completed in a certain amount of time.

The terrain of the Back 9 is incredibly uneven and treacherous, so it is best to use clubs that are accurate, but also give a decent amount of distance. Because of the many twist and turns of the course, far-reaching clubs may throw your ball off course.

How to Clear this Course

The Qualifying Round covers all 18 holes of the course, so many of the tips from previous courses still apply. Similar to the Back 9, each set of holes must be completed in a certain amount of time. Though you will be competing against two other characters, their points do not influence yours.

They may however hinder your progress through the course by knocking you or ball off course with their Special Shots and Dashes. Because of this, we recommend distancing yourself and your ball from the other two characters.

How to Clear the Sand-Shot Lesson

The lesson requires you to shoot 5 balls out of the bunker and get them as close to the hole as possible. To always land in the dark blue area of the circle, set your power close to the marked flag on your gauge and add a backspin to your shots.

How to Clear the Practice Area Challenges

The Practice Area Challenges in Balmy Dunes are similar to the previous set of challenges. Before you can attempt the challenges in Balmy Dunes, you first need to complete the challenges in Ridgerock Lake.

How to Clear the Tee-Shot Challenge

To get 10 points for each shot in this challenge, set your power to around 170 and add a super backspin to all your shots. When the target is at the left side of the course, adjust your aim to a few yards right of the target. If the target is at the right side of the course, move your aim a few yards to the left.

How to Clear the Approach-Shot Challenge

For the first three strokes, go to the overhead view and aim slightly to the right until your path line is at the edge of the dark blue circle. Set your power slightly below the marked flag on your gauge and add a backspin to your shot.

The next three strokes are the most difficult shots to hit, so we recommend settling for 8 or 9 points during this part of the challenge and compensating with your other shots. To get as close enough to the hole, aim slightly left until the path line is at the edge of the dark blue circle. Set your power to the marked flag on your gauge and add a backspin.

For the final three strokes, aim to the right until the path line is at the edge of the dark blue circle. Set your power slightly below the marked flag on your gauge and add a backspin to the ball.

How to Clear the Putting Challenge

For the first three strokes, go to the overhead view and aim slightly right until the path line is at the inner edge of the dark blue circle, and set your power slightly above the marked flag on your gauge.

The next three strokes require incredibly precise aim to get 10 points, so we recommend settling for 8 or 9 points during this part of the challenge and compensating with your other shots. The best way to get close to the hole is to aim a few feet right of the circle and set your power to around 70.

For the final three strokes, aim slightly left until the path line is exactly at the edge of the orange circle and set your power to slightly above 100.

Hazards and Obstacles Encountered

Obstacles and Hazards
Water Hazard	If your shot lands in the water, your score will get a +1 in addtion to a penalty shot. Appears on hole 3, 4, 8
Trees	Trees can stand in the way of your shot. Appears on hole 8, 12.
Bunkers	Landing in a bunker will hinder your control and will require more power in the next shot to get back out. Appears on each hole of Balmy Dunes.
Sandmaargh	Giant dragon-like monsters, which function as another large blockade for the player's shots Appears on hole 6, 7, 9, 12, 18.
Pokey	Hitting a Pokey will cause its segments to separate and will knock it to the ground. It also stops the momentum of your ball. Appears on hole 1, 5, 6, 7, 10, 16, 18.
Quicksand	Quicksand can impede your character's movement and will also result in a stroke penalty if you ball lands in it. Appears on hole 7, 9, 10, 12, 18.

Warm and Arid

Because the warm climate of the desert, several of the courses in Balmy Dunes require the player to keep track of their water level. Running out of water will force you to restart the course.

This golf club can help you get through the many bunkers found in Balmy Dunes. It is also a great way to collect several coins throughout the course since the ball stays close to the ground.
