How to Beat Ancient Poltergeist

Dodge the Bomb

The Ancient Poltergeist will immediately launch a bomb at Luigi. Be quick to dodge it. Once the Poltergeist is vulnerable, whittle down its HP with the Poltergust.

Quickly Capture the Sneakers

Sneakers will appear and disrupt your attempts to capture the Ancient Poltergeist. After defeating the Sneakers, the Ancient Poltergeist will dive back into the center of the stage and hurl bombs at Luigi.

Capture the Sneakers Then the Ancient Poltergeist

You will have to repeat this process until the Ancient Poltergeist is completely out of HP. Dodge the bombs when the Poltergeist is in the center, and capture the Sneakers before turning your attention to the Poltergeist.

You will eventually whittle down its HP to zero then capture it. Tug on the chain at the south of the area and retrieve the Clock Hand.
