As you roam around and explore the town, you will come across places that have a heart icon on your map. When you reach those spots, a dialogue will trigger between you and a member of your party. Completing this dialogue will increase your bond with them and fill up a box for your bingo.
Filling up a row, column, or diagonal line will get you a bingo as well as more progress for your Bond levels for that character.
Items that can be purchased as gifts will have a gift icon next to them.
There will be items at the shops around town that cannot be purchased as items, but rather as gifts. Since these cost money, it would be best to purchase them to give to a character you wish to really increase your bond level with.
Each character will also have their own preferences on what items to receive so make sure to keep track of what a character likes before handing them a gift.
Table Talks are chats in restaurants that can be triggered by creating a specific meal combo with your friends. Not all combo meals will trigger a table talk but those that do will be marked with a speech bubble icon.
List of All Combo Meals & Effects
While walking around town, you can encounter party chats which are indicated by a green speech bubble. These won't appear on your map but completing a party chat will help towards deepening your bond level.
Various mini games such as darts can be played together with your friends to deepen your bond with them. In addition, these mini games give you various rewards depending on which game you play.
As your bond level increases, you can take part in Drink Links where you can learn techniques with characters. Bond techniques can be used in combat where your friends will be able to perform a follow-up attack when you knock an enemy down.
There are certain jobs that require meeting a bond level in order to change jobs. For players that wish to change jobs and learn new skills, deepening your bond levels is the way to go.
All Jobs and Unlock Conditions
When a bond level increases to a certain level, skill inheritance slots will be released. As you unlock more skill inheritance slots, more techniques from other jobs can be transferred over to make a character capable of using a variety of moves.
