Upon reaching certain amounts of friends on Aloha Links, you can head to Revolver to get your rewards from Kei. Anytime you reach a threshold, you will receive a message indicating you can pick up your rewards.

If You Want To Collect All Rewards Simultaneously, Leave Then Come Back

The notification system regarding these rewards is designed in a way that you won't receive the a new message until you receive the previous reward. Should you wish to collect all the rewards at the same time, you will need to leave the premises and walk around for a bit until you receive the message.

Completing Aloha Links Lets You Earn Useful Items Early On

These rewards lets you get equipment that prove to be quite useful especially in the earlier stages of the game. More specifically, the Punk Choker you receive at 25 friends works well when used with Chitose whom you recruit in Chapter 4.

Once a friend in your Aloha Links app becomes a Buddy, you may receive items from them. Items received range from recovery items, battle items, and even items that can be sold at decent prices.

Use the Emote Button in Front of Certain NPCs

When walking around town, you may encounter NPCs with neutral smiley faces above their heads. Approach that NPC and once close enough, use the Emote button to become friends.

Help NPCs in Trouble

There will be instances where these NPCs will be in a predicament. If you interact with them, a battle will take place in order to save that NPC and upon winning the fight, you get to become friends with them.

Gift Items to Become Friends

Like a Dragon - Darla

For NPCs you have the option to talk with, approach them and give a gift to become their friend. These NPCs will appear in fixed locations in the game, allowing you to return with a gift they like whenever you're ready.

Each Animal Has Its Own Preferences

Animal Favorite Items
Dog ・Dog Food
・Hot Dog
Cat ・Cat Food
Bird ・Bird Food
・Fruits such as Coconut and Bananas
Cow ・Herbs

As each animal has its own preferred item, you can give them something they like to increase the gauge. You can even become their Buddy by feeding them their preferred item a few times.
