Chapter 9 Walkthrough

①	Head outside and follow the quest marker. Some paths are blocked off by enemies so you'll have to go around the path to the north.
②	After a quick cutscene, you'll need to fight some enemies from the Barracuda/Ganzhe Alliance. Keep following the quest marker and defeat the enemies along the way.
③	You'll eventually go up against Ualoheke who is level 29. Use the newly unlocked Ultimate Tag Team to take off a huge chunk of his HP then finish him off.
④	Talk to the nearby NPCs for the whereabouts of Akane.
⑤	From this point on, you'll be fighting some bosses consecutively, so make sure you're well prepared. You still have access to taxi cabs if you need them.
⑥	Move to the quest marker and you'll fight some more enemies from the Barracuda/Ganzhe Alliance. For now, Yamai will support your party as a fifth member.
⑦	With the meddlers taken care of, it's time to go toe to toe with Yamai once again. He's vulnerable to Ice and resistant to Fire so exploit his weakness to maximize your damage.
⑧	Proceed to Volcano Tattoo Studio.

⑩	Go to Revolve Bar and get some rest.
⑪	Go to Harbor St. to get your $10,000 back.
⑫	Talk to the Gaudy Yakuza and head to the safe house.
⑬	You'll go up against some Barracuda Footsoldiers. The room you'll fight in is small so use AoE attacks to quickly wipe them out. Watch the concluding cutscene for this chapter.

Get $10,000 By Defeating Yamai

In the fight with Yamai neart the end of the chapter, you'll get $10,000 as a reward when you defeat him.

You'll need $10,000 to progress the story, so don't spend it immediately if you do not have spare cash! You'll get the money back later in the chapter so don't fret.

Craft and Upgrade Equipment at Julie's Gearworks

At this stage of the game, your party should have 4★ equipment by now to keep up with the stronger enemies. You can craft some at Julie's Gearworks, and you can make one with Ice element to exploit the weakness of this chapter's boss.

Grind Levels in Dungeons

A good place to grind levels is B11F in Dungeons. If you're below the recommended level, you may notice a spike in difficulty. Take some time to grind out levels to ensure you can get through the series of battles in this chapter.

Take Down Minions First

All fights during this chapter have multiple enemies. Prioritize neutralizing the weaker ones first. You can also use Grenades and the Rocket Launcher that you can buy on Chapter 6: Puppet on a String.

In the fight against Yamai, make sure your party is topped off on HP before you bring him down to about half HP. He'll get a significant boost in his damage and can potentially wipe your team with his successive attacks if you aren't prepared.
