Players can feed certain animals their favorite food in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth to become friends with them. Read on to learn more about how to feed animals and see a list of their favorite food.

Each animal has its own preferred item and you can give them something they like to increase their Aloha Links gauge. You can even become their Buddy by feeding them their preferred item a few times.
You can only feed animals that are eligible to become your friend on Aloha Links. Any other animal you see that doesn't have the option to interact with cannot be given food.
If you want to feed the animal continuously, you will need to leave the immediate area and go far enough that the target animal disappears from the minimap. For players aiming to make reach Buddy status after one visit, keep in mind that you need to distance yourself to reset.
Once you have made an animal your buddy, there are no added benefits in continuously feeding them. You can still feed them but it would be better to allocate your efforts somewhere else.
