LAD Infinite Wealth - Perfect Guard Guide: How to Guard

Guard right before the enemy attacks to minimize the damage taken in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Read on to learn how to guard and some tips on how to perform a perfect guard!

Perfect Guard Guide

Guard a Bit Earlier When Attacked

Press the circle button on your controller just before the enemy attacks to successfully block it. If you press the button a little too early or too late, you'll fail to block the incoming attack. Avoid repeatedly mashing the Guard button, as it will not work either.

Perfect Guard can be done with or without choosing the Guard command during command selection.

How to Guard

Press Circle Right Before the Enemy Attacks

LAD Infinite Wealth - Perfect Guard

Time the enemy's attacks and press the circle button on your controller to block the incoming attack and reduce the damage taken. It won't fully block an attack, but reducing the damage inflicted upon you is alwasy great.

Combine with Guard to Further Reduce Damage

LAD Infinite Wealth - Guard Command + Perfect Guard
Guard + Perfect Guard

If you use the Guard command and did a Perfect Guard on an incoming enemy attack, the damage dealt upon you will be further reduced compared to simply Perfct Guarding without choosing the Guard command.
