For Ichiban's party in the story, you should use Chitose as a healer with the skills Miraculous Voice and Breath of Life which can cure status ailments and revive party members, respectively. Then, use Eric for his AoE skills and Joongi Han as a single-target damage dealer. However, you will only get Joongi Han in Chapter 13, so use Adachi as a tank beforehand with the Samurai job.
