1 | When it's your turn, pick a card in your hand and put it on the field. |
2 | • If the card you played has any matching cards of the same group, you can claim the matching cards. • If there are no matching cards, the card you played will stay on the field. |
3 | If you get a card combination, you can choose to Call or Don't Call Koi. |
4 | • Repeat Steps 1 - 3 if you Call Koi, and aim for combos with higher points. • The round ends if you Don't Call Koi, and you'll get points based on the card combos you have. |
Koi Koi is one of the ways you can play using a Hanafuda Deck. Match cards of the same type on the field with the cards in your hand to win the cards and make valid card combinations.
There are 12 types of cards that represent the months (January to December), and there are a total of 48 cards in the deck, with 4 cards per month.
