The Host is an attacker-type job that excels with dishing out magic damage which Eric excels at. Eric's special armor later on in the game will also take advantage of enemy weakpoints, so always make sure to exploit enemy weaknesses!

Considering Host unlocks in Chapter 8, Eric can use Pyrodancer as his main job from the start to Chapter 7. It has access to the powerful Soul Capture skill which deals tons of damage and heals Eric - useful for boss battles and grinding EXP in Dungeons.
