Should You Turn Off Action Prompts?

No Benefit to Turning Off Action Prompts

LAD IW - Action Prompt Settings

You can turn off Action Prompts in the game settings, but there's no benefit to doing so. No Action Prompts is equivalent to failing Action Prompts, which is simply dealing no extra damage in combat.

It's better to just leave them on, unless you really dislike the mechanic.

Deal Extra Damage

LAD IW - Action Prompt Extra Damage

If you successfully perform an Action Prompt, you'll deal extra damage to the enemy. You won't be able to deal this damage if you have Action Prompts turned off.

To successfully perform Action Prompts, press the button (or buttons) that appears on the screen during certain skills.

Damage Increase Isn't Significant

The extra damage dealt with Action Prompts isn't that big and significant. Our testing indicated a 10 damage increase with a successful Action Prompt (114 damage) to a failed Action Prompt (104 damage).

But that bit of extra damage is still useful, so try to hit your Action Prompts if you can.
