Upgrading your bat increases the swing speed and the power of Sweeping Strike. While on Dondoko Island, you will be spending a lot of time collecting resources and fighting enemies so it would be best to make upgrading your bat a top priority.
You can upgrade your bat and other tools by transacting with Kenzo in Matayoshiya.
You can use Sweeping Strike to destroy garbage, trees, rocks, etc. in one hit instead of hitting it normally which would require three or more hits. You can also use this while running, allowing for an even more efficient way of collecting resources.
If Kasuga's health has the maximum amount of hearts, the amount of resources collected will also increase. You can increase Kasuga's Livability by furnishing the inside of his home.
Sujimon can be placed at Dondoko Farm where they can work at the collection station to collect materials over time. The materials you get will vary depending on which station they work at, so be sure to place Sujimon in stations that you wish get more materials from.
Dondoko Farm will be unlocked once you reach resort rank 2.
Sujimon Guide: How to Play and Recruit Sujimon
The materials you gather can be used for various DIY projects. As you continue making more DIY projects, you can get blueprints to make even more projects. Furnishing that requires more materials increases your Popularity and Satisfaction, so investing in these can help reach the requirements for higher resort ranks.
