In Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Tag Team Attacks are special attacks performed with allies once their Hype Meter is full. Read on to learn how to fill up the Hype Meter and how to perform Tag Team Attacks, Ultimate Tag Team Attacks, and Dragon's Resurgence.
List of Contents
Tag Team Attacks and other special attacks are usable with a full Hype Meter, which is filled up by dealing damage.
At the bottom right of the screen where the character portraits are, you'll see a ∞ symbol beside your allied characters' portraits; this is called the Hype Meter. You'll be able to perform a Tag Team Attack with an ally once their meter is full.
Whenever an allied character deals damage, their Hype Meter fills up a bit. The damage counts even if it's not their turn, so follow up and combo attacks also fill up the Hype Meter.
The Hype Meter is full if it is completely yellow. Once it is full for an allied character, you'll see an indicator for the Tag Team attack beside the Move Selection UI during their turn.
Once you press the Tag Team button, move around and select the target enemy, then confirm to perform the Tag Team attack. Kasuga will perform the Tag Team Attack together with the selected ally.
The attack damage and effects are different for each ally.
You can use a different type of attack called the Ultimate Tag Team Attack if it is Kasuga's turn, as long as at least one ally has their meter full. This uses up all the full Hype Meters in the party.
This is stronger than regular Tag Team Attacks when used with more than one ally.
If you have full Hype Meters for all allies, instead of using Tag Team attacks, you can choose to use Kiryu's Dragon's Resurgence skill.
When used, you'll be able to control Kiryu in real time to attack enemies until the timer runs out, deviating from the usual turn-based combat. The way to attack is move around and mash the attack buttons, emulating the real time gameplay of the Yakuza games before Like a Dragon.
