How to Raise Resort Level to 1 Star

Itinerary for Getting Resort Rank 1

First Day
1	Destroy 10 pieces of trash with a bat
2	Defeat the Washbucklers
3	Collect 5 pieces of wood and 5 pieces of stone
4	Make any furnishing from the DIY bench
5	Place one piece of furnishing outdoors
6	Spend the day collecting resources and other items
7	Kasuga's house is unlocked
8	Interact with the calendar to end the day
Second Day
9	You can now upgrade tools and clear out areas
Third Day
10	Defeat the Washbucklers
11	Dolphine will be available for use → Use Dolphine to return to Hawaii → Get Dolphine to convert your Dokobucks to dollars
End of Tutorial
12	・Clear the entrance and the great tree ・Get a Satisfaction level of 1000 → Achieved by placing furnishing on the island ・Get a Popularity level of 700 → Achieved by collecting specialty items
13	Report back to Matayoshi → Resort rank increases to Rank 1

Improve The Quality Of Your Home

The better you improve the quality of your home, the easier it will be for Kasuga to be in tip-top condition the next day. When Kasuga's condition is good, the amount of resources acquired is increased.

The better you make your home, the higher you Livability increases. This scales with Kasuga's physical strength making it harder for Washbucklers to defeat you.

Improve your home with the aim of achieving a Livability level of 1,700 (or seven hearts) by the time your resort rank reaches 1 star.

How to Increase Hearts (Livability) in Dondoko Island

Make Clearing The Entrance And Great Tree Your Top Priority

If you have an area where you can improve your Cleanliness rank, make cleaning up trash your top priority. Not only can you get a large amount of resources, but you can also get a discount on the Dokobucks needed for clearing out an area.

Earn Dokobucks By Selling Gold And Silver Bugs

Gold and silver insects (gold beetles, silver cicadas, etc.) tend to have high selling prices.Compared to other specialty items, the rate of increase in selling price when the specialty rank increases is low, so it is ideal for selling in the early stages to earn Dokobucks.

Strengthen Your Bat and Harpoon

As you'll be using the bat and harpoon when collecting resources and specialty items, it is best to have Kenzo upgrade them early on. We recommend upgrading them to level 2 before reaching resort rank 1.

4	Select which guests to accomodate during the morning assembly

5	You can now develop and create souvenirs → Create Dondoko Seashell Bikini
6	Raise the cleanliness rank of the hill and lighthouse to S → Dokobucks required to clear the area will be discounted by 70%

Raise Your Livability To 5000 Purchase Exclusive Matayoshiya Furnishings ASAP Deal With Guests Later Don't Spend Too Much On Developing Souvenirs

Raise Your Livability To 5000

Upon reaching resort rank 1, create furnishing with the goal of achieving a Livability level of 5000. Raising your Livability to 5000 will maximize Kasuga's HP and maximize the his performance.

Purchase Exclusive Matayoshiya Furnishings At The Resource Collection Center As Soon As Possible

When you reach Resort Rank 1, furnishing that increases the amount of resources collected will be added to Matayoshiya. Prioritize purchasing them and placing them on your island as these can increase your resource collecting capabilities.

Deal With Guests Later

While at Resort Rank 1, there aren't a lot of Dokobucks earned from increasing guest satisfaction. Aim to get resort rank 2 by putting off responding to requests from guests and focus on completing the required tasks.

Don't Spend Too Much On Developing Souvenirs

While at the lower resort ranks, it isn't worth focus that much on souvenirs. Since development costs are high, hold off on increasing your souvenir catalogue and focus on reaching resort rank 5. You can keep developing Dondoko Seashell Bikinis as this is part of the tasks for the island.

7	Defeat the Washbucklers to clear the lake
8	・Clear the fields and the lake ・Raise the Satisfaction level to 15,000 or higher ・Raise the Popularity level to 4,500 or higher

Fully Upgrade Your Tools

Upon reaching resort rank 2, the Dondoko Farm and pond area will be unlocked and the day will be over before you can collect all the local products. Once you've finished building the two bridges, fully upgrade your tools to speed up the collection of specialty items.

Collect Specialty Items

There are three tasks you should do every day when you reach resort rank 2: clean up the fields, collect local specialties from the lake, and collect local specialties from Dondoko Farm. Even if you collect specialty items in other areas, the efficiency of earning Dokobucks is low, so once you have finished all three tasks, head back to Kasuga's house to end the day.

Hold Off Of Purchasing The Gardening Kit

At this point, there is no rush in purchasing the Gardening Kit and the Chicken Coop. Once all the areas have been cleared and you have Dokobucks to spare, go for it.

7	・Clear the cave and the forest ・Raise the Satisfaction level to 28,000 or higher ・Raise the Popularity level to 8,000 or higher
8	Report back to Matayoshi → Resort rank increases to Rank 4
