Use a Light Sujimon to hit the Many Shadow Enemies

The Section Chief has a lot of Shadow Sujimon, so it's a good idea to prepare a Light Sujimon to exploit their weakness.

One of the starter Sujimon, Yokawa, is a Light Sujimon that has some strong Light skills, so make good use of him in this battle.

Prepare Frost and Shadow Sujimon

The Manager's team is composed of Blaze and Light Sujimon only. Blaze Sujimon are weak to Frost, and Light Sujimon are weak to Shadow, so carry Sujimon of both types.

Use a Full Party with an Average of Level 9 or Higher

Jack will be a difficult battle if you're not prepared, since he has a six member team of Level 9 and Level 10 Sujimon. You won't be able to use the strategy of overlevelling him with your 3 Sujimon, since the maximum level is 10.

Make sure to prepare six Sujimon with an average level of 9 or higher to be on even footing with Jack's team before taking on the challenge. Level your Sujimon up by fighting other trainers in town.

Substory Rewards

Sujimancer Job

Defeating Jack of the Discreet Four will unlock the Sujimancer job, exclusive to Kasuga. It is a special job that cannot equip weapons, and uses raised Sujimon to fight instead.

This job is a bit inferior to jobs with weapons when your job rank is still low, so it's best to have this job in the later stages of the game, when it is easier to raise your job experience.

Defeating Jack also raises the maximum Sujimon level to Lv. 20.

How to Unlock Sujimancer Job

Sujimon League Committee Members

After completing the substory, a Sujimon League Committee Agent member will appear in front of the gym. Talk to him to receive 10 Sujimon League Committee Members, which can be used to awaken Sujimon.
