How to Begin the Sidequest

To begin this sidequest, speak with Dino at Galdin Quay pier.

Find the Amethyst Stone

To find the Amethyst Stone, open your map and choose the quest The Aspiring Artisan to make it the active quest. Then, you will see the location marked on the map. Make sure to use Quest Location when traveling to the marked area.

Upon reaching the area, look around near the blue ring shown on your mini-map. Then, search for a rock formation with red crystals, as shown in the image. Interact with it to obtain the stone.

Return to Dino

Go back to Dino at Galdin Quay to hand over the Amethyst Stone to complete this sidequest.
