How to Complete Vegging Out

How to Begin

To begin this sidequest, you need to complete first the Wild about Onions sidequest. Once done, talk to Proprietor at Lestallum, and he will ask you to collect an Aromatic Root at Cauthess Rest Area.

How to Get an Aromatic Root

To look for an Aromatic Root, open your map and choose the Vegging Out sidequest. Then, travel to the locations and follow what's on your mini-map. Upon reaching the area, look for a blue material shining on the ground under some bush to find the Aromatic Root. You can also get a new recipe for Ignis in the area, which is a Schier Turmeric.

Talk to the Proprietor (Furloch)

Once you obtain Aromatic Root, return to Lestallum and speak with the Proprietor and hand over the Aromatic Root to finish this sidequest.
