・Infectors use their long, mutated arms as weapons. They will try to grab and bite you if they can. ・Shooting at the pouch dangling from the Infector's waist will cause an explosion. This may be an effective way to take them down. |

Have Strong Attacks But Easy to Defeat
If encountered in the Wastelands, despite their huge damage, Infectors can easily be defeated. A combo or two should take them down.
However, when Infector grabs Eve, a QTE will occur where you need to press the Square button as much as possible to get out of it, otherwise Eve will take damage.
Shoot It With Explosive Shells
If you encounter Infectors inside both Abyss Levoire and Altess Levoire, you cannot use melee attacks, and using your Gun to defeat them is optimal.
However, regular Slugs won't budge. Use Explosive Shells to destroy them.
Infector Rewards
Rewards Money and SP
Upon defeating Infector, you can be rewarded with Money and Skill Points (SP). Money is used for purchasing items from the Shop while SP is used for unlocking Skills.
