The Safi'jiiva Siege is a limited-time event available in the Gathering Hub of Seliana. This siege is a session-wide effort - meaning multiple squads can participate and contribute to the overall success of the siege.
Hunters will be rewarded with Dracolite and unidentified Safi'jiiva weapons with one random awakened ability. The amount and overall quality of rewards depend on how successful the Siege was conducted.
Hunters can also acquire Safi'jiiva weapons via Awakening Alchemy at the Elder Melder using Safi'jiiva materials.
Safi Alchemy guarantees up to 3 random Safi'jiiva weapons. Each alchemy slot requires 100 points worth in materials. All Safi'jiiva weapons acquired this way will also have one random awakened ability

Awakening is the process of infusing your Safi'jiiva weapon with awakened abilities using Dracolite Shards. All Safi'jiiva weapons have five awakened slots and abilities within these slots can be changed using Dracolite Shards.
A Safi'jiiva weapon's awakened level is determined by its awakened abilities. An awakened ability increases the awakened level relative to its ability level.
Here is an example:
Attack Increase III increases the weapon's awakened level by three. Attack Increase V increases the weapon's awakened level by five. |
Pre-Awakened Safi'jiiva Weapon (Level 1-22) | Awakened Safi'jiiva Weapon (Level 23+) |
A Safi'jiiva weapon is considered Awakened once it achieves Awakened Level 23 or higher. Its appearance will also change.
Simply head over to the smithy and select the Upgrade Equipment option. Choose the Safi'jiiva weapon you want to awaken.
Hunters can use Dracolite acquired from the Safi'jiiva Siege or Recon missions to awaken their chosen weapon.
Hunters can obtain four different types of Dracolite, with each type contributing a specific amount of points towards the weapon's Manifestation Bar.
Below is a list containing the types of Dracolite available and their respective points:
Dracolite Type | Points |
---|---|
Dracolite Shard | 1 Point |
Dracolite | 5 Points |
Large Dracolite | 20 Points |
Rigid Dracolite | 50 Points |
Note: Excess points during an upgrade attempt will be accounted for in the next upgrade bar. |
Once the Manifestation Bar fills up, Hunters will be given a selection of three abilities to choose from. Hunters can overwrite an existing ability with a new one or place the new ability in a vacant ability slot.
In the event that all three abilities are not to the hunter's liking, the hunter can choose to Store Potential instead. This is a stacking feature and will increase the chances of yielding higher-quality abilities for the next upgrade attempt.
A Safi'jiiva weapon's stored potential will reset to zero once the hunter selects a new ability.
These are Awakened Abilities that can be awakened by all weapon types:
