Best Hammer Combos

Big Bang

Big Bang.gif
The Big Bang is the highest damaging combo for the Hammer. Fully executing this combo will allow you to deal a significant amount of damage to the monster you are fighting. This combo is the most effective when you are hitting the head of a downed monster.

While executing this combo, you can use the Left Stick to slightly change the direction of where you are hitting in case you are slightly off of your target.

Charged Brutal Upswing

The Charged Brutal Upswing is a very simple move to do in the game. Executing this simple move allows you to hit the monster's head, dealing a decent amount of damage to them. This move also allows players to reach heads that are higher than usual.

Hold R2.png > Release during the second charge

Spinning Flying Smash

Spinning Flying Smash.gif

This is a new move exclusive to players who own the Iceborne DLC. Executing this move will make the player clutch claw to the monster and hit them multiple times while they are spinning. A very good perk in executing this move is when the monster is moving, you will spin more and this makes you hit the monster multiple times.
