Recommended Weapon Element and Armor Skills

Thunder Weapon	Viper Tobi-Kadachi is weakest against thunder.
Recommended Armor Skills
Poison Resistance	Remove the threat of getting poisoned with Lvl 3 Poison Resistance.
Paralysis Resistance	As if the poison wasn't enough to worry about, Viper Tobi-Kadachi can also paralyze you. Get Paralysis Resistance to Lvl 3 to prevent this.
Health Boost	If you cannot get both Poison and Paralysis Resistance to Lvl 3, you have to make sure you can tank the damage.
Earplugs	Viper Tobi-Kadachi has a small roar, so getting Earplugs up to Lvl 3 should be sufficient.
Clutch Claw Boost	Viper Tobi-Kadachi moves quite fast, so every hit counts! You can do more damage when its body parts are tender.

How to Beat Viper Tobi-Kadachi

Countering the Poison

Viper Tobi-Kadachi's tail can inflict a poison ailment if you constantly get hit. Try to build up your Poison Resistance up to level 3 to completely counter the poison effects. However, if this is not possible with your current gears. You can bring an Antidote or a Herbal Medicine to counter this instead.

Abnormal Status Ailments

Bite attacks from Viper Tobi-Kadachi can also inflict paralysis. You should build on Paralysis Resistance as well along with your Poison Resistance. This will allow you to completely negate any abnormal status effects from Viper Tobi-Kadachi.

Breaking the Head and the Tail

Breaking the head will reduce the chances of Viper Tobi-Kadachi paralyzing you with his bite attacks. It is best that you focus on breaking this part if you do not have enough Paralysis Resistance. This strategy can also be applied for the tail if you lack Poison Resistance. Breaking the tail will stop Viper Tobi-Kadachi from poisoning you with his tail attacks.

Rotation Attack

Viper Tobi-Kadachi will howl before he executes any rotation attack. These attacks can take a huge chunk of your health if you manage to get hit. Keep your distance and avoid his attacks, use Tobi-Kadachi's howl as a signal to move away as soon as you can.

Flashing Viper Tobi-Kadachi

You can use your Flash Pod to shut down Viper Tobi-Kadachi when he is gliding in the air. This will instantly down him for a few seconds allowing you to attack.
