Description | ||
Whatever you do, don't try to touch him with your hands! Oddly, though, he doesn't mind if you knock him around with your feet. |
The Soccer Ball is accompanied by other ghosts. Luigi has to deal with them first, so he can focus his attention on capturing the Soccer Ball.
Much like the Creeper Launcher, the Soccer Ball has a lot of HP but does not move much during battles. To deal with it, Luigi just has to keep using the Poltergust on it until it gets captured.
Moreover, while getting vacuumed, the Soccer Ball will jump into the air, then slam the ground, creating a shockwave that interrupts Luigi for a short time. This does not do any damage but can't be avoided. Luigi just has to continue using the Poltergust on it even when interrupted.
The Soccer Ball will constantly spit out yellow goo at Luigi while it's engaged in battle. Luigi needs to dodge the projectiles while he's attempting to capture it with the Poltergust.
When Luigi gets too close to the Soccer Ball, it will attack him with its body. Luigi should keep his distance from the Soccer Ball to avoid triggering its body attack.
The Soccer Ball will also spit out purple goo that turns into small Creepers. When a Creeper spawns, it's best for Luigi to deal with them first before focusing its attention back to the Soccer Ball. Doing so allows Luigi to vacuum the Soccer Ball with minimal interruptions.
To deal with these small Creepers, Luigi just has to flash them with the Strobulb, then vacuum them with the Poltergust.
