How to Beat Cold Catcher

Flash it Before it Attacks

Cold Catchers, a variant of Slammers are generally more aggressive than your typical Greenies. They have a wider range of attack because of their larger arms and hands. Fortunately, if you flash with the your Strobulb, they are as vulnerable as a Greenie.

Find it Immediately When it Goes Invisible

Cold Catchers can turn invisible when they are not attacking. This could be a problem especially when you are dealing with multiple in a relatively smaller space. It is recommended to keep moving when it goes invisible.

Fully Power Up Your A-Pull

Cold Catchers have a massive 300 HP, making them harder to catch because of the time it takes to deplete their HP. You can counter this by charging your A-Pulls while you latch onto them.

They will also summon shields that must be broken with correct button presses with the A-Pull.

Prioritize Other Enemies

Beetles, non-ghost enemies, can be dealt with using your Strobulb. Be sure to get rid of them right away, or else they could disrupt you from your attempts at capturing the Cold Catcher.

Greenies and other enemies should also be defeated first, so as to not lose your momentum when capturing a Cold Catcher.
