How to Beat Awelligator

Wait for Them to Peek Out

Much like a Bomb Brother, Awelligator is a Greenie-like enemy that carries a large bomb in front of its face, protecting it from Luigi's Strobulb, and it always appears as a pair. However, as a consequence of not being able to see, it will peek out from time to time, making it vulnerable to Luigi's Strobulb.

To deal with it, Luigi has to wait for it to peek out. Once it shows its face, Luigi can now flash it with the Strobulb, then capture it using the Poltergust.

Watch Out for the Bombs they Drop

When the Awelligator gets flashed by Luigi's Strobulb, it will drop the bomb it's carrying, which will light the fuse. The bomb will explode after some time, dealing damage in a wide area. Moreover, when the Awelligator is getting vacuumed by Luigi's Poltergust, it will also drop smaller bombs on the ground that will explode after some time.

Luigi needs to be mindful of the bombs on the ground to avoid getting hit by their explosion.

Shine the Dark-Light Device on Them

Since the Awelligator can turn invisible, Luigi can shine the Dark-Light Device on it to reveal it.
