Poltergeists can be revealed by using your Dark-Light. There is only 1 Strong Poltergeist in the game, and you only fight it in one mission. Poltergeists love to stay hidden, and can attack without revealing themselves.
The Strong Poltergeist has a lot more health than any other typical Strong variant. Defeating a Strong Poltergeist takes patience and multiple attempts to capture it to chip away at its health.
