THe F/A-18 is a fighter that works best when taking down other aircraft and maintaining air superiority over the enemy team. Focus on targeting fighters and attack helicopters using your guided missiles to keep the enemy out of your sectors.

Equipment Uses and Effects

Equipment Description
Beam Scanning Reduces the time it takes to lock-on enemy vehicles.
Stealth Decreases spotting radius and time, and reduces weapon lock radius and increases lock-on time.
Maintenance Increases natural vehicle health regeneration rate.
Belt Speed Decreases reload time for main weapons.
Proximity Scan Reveals enemy infantry on the minimap in a 29m sphere around the vehicle.
Extinguisher Air pressure release in the engine compartment that puts out fires and clears the vehicle's disabled state.
ECM Jammer Disengages and blocks lock-on for 5 seconds.
IR Flares Deploys flares that distact heat-seeking missiles.
Guided Missile (Jet) This is a lock-on target acquisition system for ground vehicles only.
Rocket Pods (Jet) A set of unguided FFAR Rocket Pods attached via underwing mounts.
Heat Seekers Heat Seeking missiles launched by pilots that lock-onto and track enemy aircraft.
20mm Cannon Six-barrel rotary cannon firing 20mm shells at 6000 rounds per minute.
