Tied to Rubberbanding In-Game

Despite its usefulness to any player that uses it, the Prox Sensor has been linked to Rubberbanding Issues in-game, where players will find themselves being "pulled" back towards their starting position whenever they attempt to move.

This could be attributed to the way the Prox Sensor tracks player locations and has been identified by EA as being the main source of the problem.

Other Rubberbanding Fixes

Check Internet Connection

Although rubberbanding has been attributed to the Proximity Sensor, there could be other sources of the issue, primarily being a stable internet connection. Connections with high Ping can be one of the greater causes of rubberbanding, and it is recommended that players check their connections if the problem persists.

Check for Other Connection Issues

Other issues affecting players with rubberbanding could be attributed as well to Error Codes. Since the game's early access launch, Server Side issues have continued to crop up leading to disconnections from the network, or an inability to log in.
