Bullets to Kill and Time to Kill for All Guns | BTK and TTK

Battlefield 2042 (BF2042) TTK and BTK Calculation
Bullets to Kill and Time to Kill are one of the important values used in determining what makes a weapon better compared to the rest. In this guide, we'll show you all BTK and TTK values for Assault Rifles, SMGs, LMGs, and Pistols in Battlefield 2042!

Bullets to Kill (BTK) and Time to Kill (TTK) for All Weapons

All SMGs

K30 has the fastest TTK.png
SMGs will be specialized more for close to mid-range fights, so the main focus for this category would be the distance between 0 and 30m.

Across the board, the PP 29 takes the fewest amount of bullets to kill an unarmored soldier across all ranges compared to other SMGs. This can be an ideal scenario if a single fire or shooting in bursts will help you land more shots consistently.

Due to its high rate of fire, the K30 with the Standard Issue Magazine type is the best SMG for close to mid-range. The MP9 comes second in TTK while the PP 29 is only a few milliseconds behind.

All Assault Rifles

The AK 24 has the fastest TTK compared to all other assault rifles
Assault Rifles will specialize for close and mid-range fits, so the ideal distance to focus on would be 0 to 50 meters.

The AC-42 has an amazing BTK across the board, only needing 4 shots to kill an unarmored soldier. This makes it especially ideal at mid to long ranges by using single fire mode if landing two burst shots is difficult.

*The in-game value for the AC 42 Rate of Fire is incorrect due to its burst fire mechanic. We've added our own Rate of Fire value based from tests.

The M5A3 with the Close Combat essentially turns it into an SMG at the cost of its BTK and TTK at ranges beyond 30 meters. The AK 24 with the High-Power Ammo seems to be the best option for mid to long ranges if you're accurate enough to land your shots while in full auto.

All LMGs

The LCMG with the High-Power Magazine is the best overall SMG
LMGs are more specialized for mid and long-range combat, so the distance to focus on would be 30 to 100 meters. It can become competitive at close range but its slow aim down sight speed is often a detriment if players are caught by surprise.

The LCMG boasts the best BTK compared to the PKB BP for all ranges. What's surprising is how the Subsonic ammo type beats the Close Combat and Standard Magazine for close to mid ranges. This makes the ammo type viable, especially since it will attract less attention with the removal of bullet tracers.

The choice between the LCMG and PKB-BP can be evenly split across all three ranges. The LCMG with the Close Combat Magazine will perform the best in close range, but you will need to swap to the High-Power Magazine for the lowest TTK for mid and long ranges. On the other hand, you can simply use the PKB--BP with the High-Power Magazine and call it a day.

Time to Kill (TTK) Formula

Formula used to get the TTK was (60/Rate of Fire)x(BTK-1). The test dummy had no armor and only ammo type attachments were used for this test. The bullet time was also not considered for longer ranges. This is because bullet time will not affect the ranking of what's the fastest and the slowest gun since the projectile velocity is the same across all guns (without additional attachments).

Hi. Great job but your numbers aren't correct. There is no difference between 0-5 and 0-9 m. distance. Correct numbers for almost all meta weapons you can find here. Made for personal use, but feel free to read =) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zgCGWRj4lN0BNzTAB9BnQ4pMbw7RZ-eyxZwDAWU95i8
