How to Play on Valparaiso

Valparaiso is a jungle map with a lot of vegetation and destructible houses. Make sure to bring explosives and smoke grenades as you enter each sector since houses and cover can disappear a few minutes into the game.

Conquest Tips

Use your Preferred Loadout

The map is wide enough that it will not give you a tactical advantage for using a specific set of weapons and gear. Feel free to use any of the guns currently in your arsenal!

Use Explosives to Open Up Houses

Almost all the buildings in Valparaiso will have wooden walls that can be destroyed. Take advantage of this by using explosives and removing the cover of unsuspecting enemies.

Watch Out for Lighthouse Snipers

The lighthouse at the south of B1 will provide the highest vantage point in the game. If you're playing as the Russian Forces, keep an eye at the lighthouse as it will usually be infested with US snipers.

Rush Tips

Use SMG's or Shotguns

The Rush version of Valparaiso consists of tight and linear paths compared to other maps. A lot of close-quarters fighting will be bound to happen, so shotguns or SMGs will be the go-to loadout here.

Bring Explosives and Smokes

Almost all buildings in Valparaiso can be completely destroyed, especially the bomb sites. Take advantage of this by using explosives to give your team a clear line of sight to defend the objectives. To make up for all the destroyed cover, make sure to carry smoke grenades to help the bomb planters.
