• Equipped armor type for the LCAA Hovercraft has been adjusted which increases it’s vulnerability against different weapon types

Reduced the overall damage of the Minigun for all Land Vehicles, alongside bullet damage drop off now starting earlier

• Reduced bullet damage before Damage Fall Off starts from 18 to 13
• Reduced Damage Fall Off distance from 60 to 40
• Reduced bullet damage at max Fall Off distance to 6

LCAA Hovercraft is probably the best transport vehicle in the game. It is fast and agile and can get past enemy lines while clearing out soldiers in the way and get away with just a few scratches. Just make sure not to run it directly into a tank as it has a low defense and can blow up easily.

Try applying pressure for foot soldiers in the area by getting past their territory. You can delay some of them or even kill them as you pass through. It can help your team gain an advantage over the sectors and secure better spots.

Using a vehicle to climb up buildings might be impossible in real life, but not in Battlefield 2042. You can use the LCAA Hovercraft to drive to the walls of a building. You can do that by speeding up and boosting towards the building. The building wall must be a flat surface, or it won't work.

How to Unlock LCAA Hovercraft Equipment

Equipment How to Unlock Description
Smoke Discharger Unlocked by default. Disperses concealing cloud of smoke around vehicle, allowing vehicle to break contact with enemy force. Be aware of your surrounds before discharging.
Minigun Unlocked by default. High-ROF anti-personnel minigun in 7.62mm. Ineffective against armored targets.
Light Machine Gun Unlocked by default. Light machinegun port. High-ROF anti-personnel weapon.
40mm Grenade Launcher (Land Vehicle) 20 Kills, Assists, and Vehicles Destroyed with the KA-520 Super Hokum40 Kills, Assists, and Vehicles Destroyed with the LCAA Hovercraft. Excellent Anti-personnel capabilities. GPLs don't have to hit directly, so great for dislodging enemies in difficult cover. Belt-fed.
Repair System 40 Kills, Assists, and Vehicles Destroyed with the KA-520 Super Hokum40 Kills, Assists, and Vehicles Destroyed with the LCAA Hovercraft. Repairs onboard systems when damaged.
Thermal Smoke Package 80 Kills, Assists, and Vehicles Destroyed with the KA-520 Super Hokum40 Kills, Assists, and Vehicles Destroyed with the LCAA Hovercraft. Disperses concealing cloud of chemical smoke around the vehicle that will defeat some sensor specturms.
TOW Missile 120 Kills, Assists, and Vehicles Destroyed with the KA-520 Super Hokum40 Kills, Assists, and Vehicles Destroyed with the LCAA Hovercraft. Wire-guided missile that allows operator to anticipate and track fast-moving enemies. Due to crew control, this missile is not susceptible to countermeasures.
