M1A5 boasts its high firepower and durability, but it lacks a bit of mobility. Take it to where the battle is happening to eliminate soldiers and destroy vehicles. Although it has a high defense, avoid going deep into enemy territory to prevent getting hit by explosives and rockets.

How to Unlock M1A5 Equipment

Equipment How to Unlock Description
Heavy Machine Gun Unlocked by default. .50cal coaxial. Heavy machine gun for anti-personnel and soft vehicle targets.
40mm Volley Pod Unlocked by default. Fire a volley of 40mm frag grenades. Accessed from a support seat.
Sensor Array Unlocked by default. Capable of spotting all enemies within your viewport.
Detection Pulse Unlocked by default. Active sensor pulse that detects enemy presence near the vehicle. Shares that information with all vehicle occupants.
Coax Light Machine Gun Unlocked by default. 7.62mm coaxial. High rate-of-fire LMG for anti-personnel use.
MPAT Shell Unlocked by default. Multi-Purpose Anti-Tank MPAT projectile. High velocity. Limited area effect.
Smoke Discharger Unlocked by default. Disperses concealing cloud of smoke around vehicle, allowing vehicle to break contact with enemy force. Be aware of your surrounds before discharging.
Smoke Launcher 10 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. Launches a cluster of smoke grenades, creating a cloud of smoke at a remote target. Block enemy vision, or create a feints.
Repair System 20 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. Repairs onboard systems when damaged.
Canister Weapon Pod 40 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. Danger close anti-personnel fire, uses canister munition. Accessed from a support seat.
HEAT Shell 60 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. High Explosive Anti-Tank HEAT shell. Limited armour penetration. Increased area effect.
Minigun 120 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. High-ROF anti-personnel minigun in 7.62mm. Ineffective against armored targets.
Coax Heavy Machine Gun 180 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. .50cal coaxial. Heavy machine gun for anti-personnel and soft vehicle targets.
TOW Missile 240 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. Wire-guided missile that allows operator to anticipate and track fast-moving enemies. Due to crew control, this missile is not susceptible to countermeasures.
Rocket Pod 300 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. Used primarily for anti-vehicle barrages. Acessed from a support seat.
Thermal Smoke Package 360 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. Disperses concealing cloud of chemical smoke around the vehicle that will defeat some sensor specturms.
Kinetic Grenade Pod 420 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. Launches kinetic preservation grenade. Allows indirect trajectory hits to remove embedded targets. Accessed from a support seat.
STAFF Shell 480 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. Smart Targeted-Activated Fire and Forget STAFF shell. Capable of dynamic in-flight ballistic adjustments if the target makes small movements.
60mm Mortar Weapon Pod 540 Kills, Assists, and Vehicle Destroyed with the M1A5. Arcing shot for indirect fire. Multiple applications. Accessed from a support seat.
