How to Play on Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope is an urban city with loads of buildings to use as either cover or sniping points. Take control of the sides before taking control of the center to force enemies into a corner.

Conquest Tips

Capture the Sectors on Building

Your faction will gain an aerial advantage if all the sectors atop a building are on your side. You can call in tanks using the Call-In System to defend them. All aircraft will have a difficult time adjusting their altitude to the building's height, giving the stationary tanks time to aim at them before they get out of their range.

Secure the D1 Sector at the Start

The D1 Sector will be hard to capture if the enemy has it. It will be easier for your team to deploy units around the area fast if your team secures it, as it is right in the middle of the map. Try to get a vehicle at the start of the match and seize it quickly to have an advantage over this map.

Civilian Vehicles

There are a fair number of civilian vehicles around the area. You can use them to travel around the map if your Call-In System is not available. However, you need to be careful when using them, as they have low defense, and just a solid hit from a Recoilless M5 will take them out.

Don't use the Elevators

Do not use the elevators to climb buildings if the enemies are already occupying the sector above, as it is easy to get killed in there, and you'll waste precious respawn tickets. We recommend riding an aircraft if you want to get on top of them, for it is much safer and faster.

Breakthrough Tips

First Sectors are Open Areas

Equip weapons that are good at mid to long-range shootouts, mainly assault rifles, SMGs, and Marksman guns, as the first sectors are open areas mostly. Boris, Irish, and Dozer will also shine on the first part because of their abilities. They can set up good spots and help the team cover spaces.

Vehicles are the Key to Winning

The team who can use the vehicles to capture or defend sectors, kill enemies, and support their allies best will win the match. Since the map is pretty open except for the mid sectors, they have a better view and aim at the surroundings.

C Sector

Things will start getting dicey for the attackers once the C Sector is up. Secure the sector above quickly and hold out before the defenders finish setting up their defenses. Call in aircraft to clear out the top of the building and create some space for the capturing teammates.

For the defenders, it's better to fall back fast and set up defenses once you know that the sector before it is now impossible to recover. Use the Call-In System to drop down tanks and other land vehicles to counter the attacker's aircraft and cover teammates on foot.
