How to Add Friends and Create a Party

Add Friends Using Origin

You can add friends in Battlefield 2042 by logging into Origin. To search for your friends, you can click on the 'Friends' tab of Origin, and find them using their Public EA ID, real name, or email address. After finding them, you can send a friend request.

After adding them, you would be able to see them on the 'Friends' button in the bottom right corner of Origin. If they're online, you can click on the icon next to their name and join their game right away. Adding friends in Origin also allows you to play other EA games with them.

Search for EA ID in the Game

You can also search your friends in Battlefield 2042 by logging into the game and searching for their EA ID there.

To do this, go to the 'Social' tab on the main screen, and go to 'Invitations.' After that, you can click 'Search for EA ID' and enter your friend's username and add them.

How to Create a Party

To create a party, go back to the 'Social' tab and go to 'Party/Friends.' You can click on 'PC' (for PC users) or 'EA Friends' to find people that you can invite.

The next step is to click on your friend's name and select 'Invite' to allow them to join your party. You can add a maximum of 3 other friends in your party, creating a party of 4 in total.

Create a Private Party

You also have the option to create a Private Party, which prevents random players from entering. All you have to do is to click on the 'Party' tab and then a prompt that asks you to enable Party Privacy will pop up. Click on Private Party and you are all set.

You can also join other friends' games by going to the 'Party/Friends' tab and choosing the option to Join rather than invite them. This allows you to immediately hop into a game that your friends are playing and help them win the fight!

Can You Play Split Screen in Battlefield 2042?

Battlefield 2042 does not support Split Screen multiplayer, and there are no local multiplayer options available as well. Multiplayer game modes and features can only be accessed online on both console and PC.
