Although it sacrifices plenty of its magazine size and firepower, the MP28 is a durable gun meant for players who find themselves often in situations where they fight enemies from medium range.
The gun is best used in short but quickly fired single shots at enemies from medium-range and is best paired with primary weapons that can also achieve the same distance to make switching out from primary weapons to this weapon feel more fluid and controlled.

As a great alternative to the MP28, the G57 is a fast firing pistol that can easily be pulled out in situations where a player's Primary Weapon has run out of ammunition. Although it sacrifices plenty of firepower compared to the M44, frantic situations in a firefight usually end with the character with the faster firing gun winning out in the end.
Unlike the M44 however, the G57 is mainly used to defend one's self in emergency situations rather than as a viable first option weapon like the M44.

Fast firing, accurate, and easy to control over engagements not exceeding medium-range, the PP-29 is one of the earlier weapons that you can unlock in-game, giving you more time to unlock attachments for it. This gun performs exceedingly well over short or medium-range distances, capable of inflicting heavy damage to enemies in a short amount of time.

Although difficult to use when engagements exceed medium-range, the M5A3, as one of the first basic guns players can start with, is a serviceable rifle that players can easily master throughout a few levels. Being the first weapon players can expect to heavily use throughout the game, attachments for the weapon can become easily available, providing you with multiple avenues to boost the rifle's effectiveness.

Due to its power, high magazine size, and range, the LCMG is an excellent weapon to use over medium and slightly long-distance ranges. This LMG is best used through lengthy bursts of fire that can capitalize on its large magazine size and is also excellent as a tool used for area denial through rapid-fire against enemies coming your way.

As an upgrade over the DM7, the SVK is a serviceable rifle to use over medium to long-range distances. Its use is similar to that of the DM7, where it excels in short and precise shots against enemies – once available, upgrades to its sights should be utilized to have a faster aim in situations where enemies come up close to players.

Firepower | Accuracy | Range | Handling | 70 | 64 | 63 | 41 |
How to Unlock | Default Marksman Weapon |
The first weapon players will have a chance to work with in the Marksman category of weapons is the DM7. Trusty and reliable, the DM7 has decent stats overall, being particularly great in handling and magazine size, allowing players to produce stable and accurate shots multiple times at enemies from slightly long to mid-range distances.
Although the SVK outshines it in terms of raw firepower, the DM7 is a great entry-level weapon for players looking for a sniper-like weapon they can bring to even close-ranged firefights.

The "King" of Sniper Rifles, the NTW-50 is essentially a single shot sniper rifle capable of killing opponents in just one hit. Although it has a small magazine size and slightly difficult handling, mastery over the weapon over long distances can help to defeat enemies before they even know you are there.

A shotgun that is extremely effective at close distances, the 12M Auto is a durable shotgun where "cocking" the gun isn't needed – this makes the time between shots shorter, allowing players to deal more damage within a 30-second close-ranged engagement against enemies. Old players of past Battlefield titles can easily identify its uses as being similar to the USAS-12.
