How to Play on Caspian Border

Fans of Battlefield 3 may remember this map for its gorgeous forest scenery. Caspian Border makes its return along with its open and hilly terrain, as well as the M220 Launcher with guided missiles. Take advantage of using Assault and Sniper Rifles as your primary weapon and use the M220 Launcher to destroy vehicles.

Conquest Tips

Use Assault and Snipers Rifles

Caspian Border has open and hilly terrain, which is perfect for mid to long-range combat. Assault and Sniper Rifles will be excellent guns to use on this map.

Capture D1 First

D1 is the highest control point on the map and can oversee all other objectives. Make sure to focus on capturing this sector first and foremost by traveling to the area with a vehicle. This sector will also contain the most amount of M220 launchers, which will be perfect for destroying incoming vehicles.

Use the M220 Launcher to Destroy Vehicles

The M220 Launcher is a guided missile that can be controlled by using your crossair. These unmovable stations will always spawn inside a sector. This piece of equipment is excellent not only for destroying ground targets, but also air vehicles since it cannot be countered with a flare.

Rush Tips

Assault Rifles on First Half, SMGs on the second

The first half of the rush mode on this map involves a long stretch of land before reaching the objectives. The second half will be storming a military base with a lot of buildings. To maximize efficiency, make sure to start the game with an Assault gun loadout and then swap to an SMG loadout.

Always Travel by Vehicle

Caspian Border has wide-open areas between the two halves of the map, which is perfect for sniping people on foot. Make sure to always use land or air vehicles to get across the spawn point and into objectives safely.
