How to Play as Casper

How to Use the OV-P Recon Drone Specialty and Explanation

Spot Enemies up to 100m

Recon Drone Spotting Showcase
When an enemy gets within the Recon Drone's field of view, they get a live marker on top of their head and appear on the minimap for your entire team. Use this to safely peek around corners and take out the enemy or leave it to guard your flank.

The recon drone can detect enemies up to 100 meters away and has a controllable max range of 300 meters.

You can only have one recon drone up at any time. It will stay active until it gets destroyed or you pass the 300m range limit.

Disable Vehicles 25m Away

Recon Drone EMP Showcase.gif

The Recon Drone also has a function that lets you lock on and charge an EMP shot to disable enemy vehicles. This charged shot has a range of about 25 meters to lock on.

Disabling enemy vehicles will not stop them from moving, but it will disable certain functions like weapons or vehicle gadgets like smoke grenades. If you're skilled enough, you might even be able to disable the flares of enemy aircraft!

Attach C5 Explosives on Drones

Drone C5 and Drone combination
A sneaky and easy way to destroy any vehicle is to attach C5's on your drone and drive it very close to a vehicle, basically touching it. Swap back to your perspective and then detonate the C5. There are hardly any vehicles that can survive three C5's in the game, so make sure you have a supply crate nearby!

If you want to min-max the amount of C5's you need to use, just remember that heavily armored vehicles like tanks need 3 C5s, transport vehicles need around 2, and a regular soldier only needs 1(except Dozer).

How to Use the Movement Sensor Trait and Explanation

Detects Movement up to 25m Away

Movement Sensor will only pulse when enemies move.gif

Whenever an enemy gets within about a 25 meter radius around you, a red pulsing signal will start showing at the bottom middle of your screen. The closer the enemy is, the more pulses the sonar will show.

It is important to note that the sensor will only start pulsing if an enemy is moving near your proximity.

Best Loadouts and Teammates

Best Loadouts for Casper

Primary Gadget Throwable
Assault
SMG
C5 Explosive EMP Grenade
Prox Sensor

This build focuses on abusing the C5 and Recon Drone combo in order to destroy any vehicle in the game. You're free to choose any primary weapon but using SMG's or Assault Rifles will give you the most value thanks to the Movement Sensor Trait. We recommend using the EMP Grenade or Prox Sensor for the throwable slot.

Your drone will require a slightly long cooldown after destroying it. You can make up for this by using an EMP Grenade to disable enemy vehicles like what the Recon Drone does or a Prox Sensor to reveal enemies on the minimap to clear a sector.

To maximize your efficiency in blowing up vehicles with the C5 and drone combo, you can get another squadmate to run Casper as well. By doing this, you can relax and focus on either blowing up the C5 Explosive or piloting the drone while the other Casper does the opposite.
