Pick a Sector to Capture In the Map

To capture a sector in Battlefield 2042, the first goal is to find an area in the map to capture. Open up the map screen, and identify which areas can be captured. It is much better to pick area where most of your allies are fighting on, giving you a better chance of taking over a sector.

Proceed to the Sector with Your Team

The next step is to travel to the sector with your team to capture the area. It's much better to enter fights as a team, as you have allies that can protect you while entering each sector. This also prevents you from getting taken out by the enemy.

Stay Inside the Sector and Defend

Once inside the sector, you need to stay there for a certain amount of time until it is captured. Enemies entering a sector will slow down the capture process, which is why you need to defend the area and prevent them on capturing it themselves.

If you are capturing an enemy sector, the first step is neutralizing it before capture. This process takes longer, which is why having more allies in the area is crucial to continue capturing and speed up the process. After neutralizing the sector, you can now capture it for your team.

Capture More Sectors to Beat the Opposing Team

The win a match in Conquest, you need to capture enough sectors to give your team more points. After a certain number of points have been attained, you win the match.
