Update #3 - 0.3.0 (December 2, 2021)

Gadgets Update #3 Patch Notes
• Gadgets no longer pause their cooldown when the player enters a vehicle.

• Gadgets will move with elevators rather than getting destroyed.

• Carl Gustaf (Recoilless M5), RPG, Wildcat AA missiles, Bolte missile barrage will not re-lock onto vehicles if they have been flared.

• Adjusted glass on Orbital to allow grenades to pass through windows instead of bouncing back at players.

Gadgets

Gear Unlocks at Lv. Description
Medical CrateMedical Crate Default Restores health to all nearby friendlies, healing any sustained damage. Powerful squad survivability booster.
Ammo CrateAmmo Crate Default Large supply cache. Resupply of general munitions and explosives. Will automatically supply friendlies over a large area.
Recoilless M5Recoilless M5 Default 8.4cm Recoilless Rifle. Direct-fire general purpose explosive weapon. Primary usage is anti-armor, but can be creatively applied in anti-infantry, anti-aircraft, anti-materiel roles.
Repair ToolRepair Tool Default Utility welder. In the right hands it can field repair most vehicle damage.
FXM-33 AA MissileFXM-33 AA Missile 2 Anti-Aircraft MANPAD Missile System. Lock on to an enemy aircraft and launch - missile will independently track its target.
IBA Armor PlateIBA Armor Plate 4 Next-generation Combined Arms Protective Insert. Gel-ceramic composite trauma plate that provides a layer of ballistic impact protection. FIts inside tactical vest assembly.
C5 ExplosiveC5 Explosive 9 C5 composite explosive charge with remote detonator. Can be placed creatively. Sticks to targets - including vehicles. Excels against armored targets. For a larger blast, deploy multiple packs before detonation.
Insertion BeaconInsertion Beacon 16 Allows friendlies to spawn on this location. Place in a pot of concealment, deep behind enemy lines.
Med PenMed Pen 26 Self-administered emergency medical booster. Contents: anticoagulant chemicals, painkillers, biodegradable medical-grade nanomachinery. Side effects may include nausea. For any other issues, consult your physician.
Anti-Tank MineAnti-Tank Mine 38 Explosive device designed to destroy armored vehicles. Explosive will detonate when enemy vehicle passes over it, making concealed/tactical placement a user consideration.
SOFLAMSOFLAM 56 Target designator. Paints the target with a laser, allowing allies to lock-on to the same shared target with a variety of smart weapons.

Gear Unlocks at Lv. Description
Frag GrenadeFrag Grenade Default Tactical anti-personel explosive with a delayed timer. Minor damage to light vehicles.
Smoke GrenadeSmoke Grenade 12 Used to cover advances, retreats or distractions. Great to use when to obscure wounded comrades, before attempting a revive.
Prox SensorProx Sensor 22 Uploads positional details of any detected hostiles to the Combat Network.
EMP GrenadeEMP Grenade 30 Disrupts vehicle and personnel HUD systems.
Incendiary GrenadeIncendiary Grenade 42 Area denial weapon. Useful for blocking advances, or flushing deeply embedded combatants.

Throwable Items

Gear Description
EXPPackEXPPack A remote-detonated, throwable dynamite package with a large blast radius. It could destroy almost anything with one or two blocks.
Stick GrenadeStick Grenade One of the most iconic infantry weapons from WWII
MK II GrenadeMK II Grenade One and a half pounds of iron and explosive powder. The rows of grooves and knobs (40 in total) gave the frag grenade its frags.

Engineer

Gear Description
LandmineLandmine The AT Landmine is a placement explosive that was very effective against enemy armor.

Throwable Items

Gear Description
Frag GrenadeFrag Grenade Classic throwable, frangible explosive grenade that has a 2.9 meter blast radius.

Assault

Gear Description
C4C4 Remote detonated plastic explosive that attaches to most surfaces for precision destruction.

Engineer

Gear Description
M136 AT4M136 AT4 Swedish made disposable 84mm anti-tank missile. A guidance tracking system assists the warhead in reaching the target.
AT MineAT Mine Proximity mine that is highly effective in vehicle destruction. Larger HE effect than anti-personnel mines and also detonate if tampered with.
RPG-7RPG-7 The most widely used anti-tank weapon in the world. Shoulder fired with a shaped charge for penetrating armor, accuracy is in the hands of the operator.

Medic

Gear Description
DefibrillatorDefibrillator The Automated External Defibrillator uses electronic pulses to correct abnormal heart rhythms and bring troops back from low health. Can also be used as a weapon against the enemy.

Recon

Gear Description
C4C4 Remote detonated plastic explosive that attaches to most surfaces for precision destruction.
Mortar StrikeMortar Strike A fully automated indirect-fire Weapon System. It can target, direct and adjust firing solutions for 120mm mortars. It's a force multiplier for small units that do not have heavy weapon or close air support.

Battlefield 3 Gear

Throwable

Gear Description
M67 GrenadeM67 Grenade Common defense hand grenade. A short fuse and can be thrown approximately 30 meters by the average soldier. Lethality is limited against modern body armor.

Assault

Gear Description

Gear Description
EOD BotEOD Bot Remote controlled Explosive Ordnance Disposal robot allows the engineer to repair tool, but can also arm and disarm explosives and M-COM stations in Rush
Anti-Tank MineAnti-Tank Mine Proximity mine that is highly effective in vehicle destruction. Larger HE effect than anti-personnel mines and also detonate if tampered with.
FGM-148 JavelinFGM-148 Javelin Fire-and-Forget system requires "lock-on" before launch, guiding the missile to the target. The Javelin automatically uses Top Attack mode on Laser Designated targets, a powerful answer to enemy armor.
SA-18 IglaSA-18 Igla Russian made man-portable infrared homing anti-air missile system that bears similarity to the American FIM-92.
FIM-92 StingerFIM-92 Stinger Man-portable IR homing anti-aircraft missile system. Requires target lock before firing.
RPG-7V2RPG-7V2 The most widely used anti-tank weapon in the world. Shoulder fired with a shaped charge for penetrating armor, accuracy depends on the operator.
SMAWSMAW Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon, 83mm unguided rocket launcher used to defeat light armor and bunkers. Loads one rocket at a time,

Recon

Gear Description
SOFLAMSOFLAM Special Operations Forces Laser Acquisition Marker allows the Recon Class to designate enemy vehicles for precision strikes. It's semi-autonomous and will designate targets even when unattended.
MAVMAV The Micro Air Vehicle is a remotely operated ISR platform equipped with a suite of motion sensors as well as IRNV camera capabilities for aerial reconnaissance.
Radio BeaconRadio Beacon The AN-PRC-117F Radio allows the Recon Class to deploy an additional Squad Spawn position. The Recon must be part of a squad for this to function.

Support

Gear Description
M18 ClaymoreM18 Claymore A directional anti-personnel mine that is detonated by motion in front of the mine. The mine can be passed safely if the target is moving at low speeds.
