With Mackay's Grappling Hook and Nimble trait you have a better shot at rounding up kills in and out of tight situations. As for Boris, his SG-36 Sentry System will automatically track and shoot at enemies in the vicinity, as a bonus any enemy killed by the sentry gun will be counted as your kills.

Best Combat Weapons

Battlefield 2042 - PP-29.jpg PP-29 Battlefield 2042 - Recoilless M5 Icon.pngRecoilless M5

The PP-29 is currently one of the best guns in the game with its fast rate of fire along with an ammo capacity that's a cut above the rest. In terms of recoil, this gun is pretty easy to control, making it a pretty lethal weapon in any combat situation.

When it comes to vehicles, your typical gun won't cut it. You need to bring the big boys out. This is where the Recoilless M5 shines its brightest. Equip this gadget and you can even take on a tank.

Sneaky C5 Drone

Using Casper's OV-P Recon Drone, you can attach a C5 Explosive on it, have it approach groups of enemies and detonate to take out from over 300m. You can also try this trick for large vehicles that are guarding objective points. Just slap a C5 on the drone, have it fly under the vehicle and go "ka-boom".

Assists in killing are counted when your teammates kill enemies with the intel you provide using Casper's OV-P Recon Drone and Paik's EMG-X Scanner. In addition, you can also use the Prox Sensor if you don't feel like choosing the Recon Class for your gameplay.
