How to Play on Orbital

Orbital gives a pretty balanced terrain with both buildings to capture and open areas for complete shootouts. The capture point on top of the tower is usually a hard sector to take if the enemy gets to it first.

Conquest Tips

US Forces have the Advantage (64-Player Map)

Most of the surrounding areas and sectors near the US base are high grounds, and it gives them a huge advantage over the map because of that. RU Forces might want to get on vehicles and contest the sectors there fast.

Secure C and D Sectors (128-Player Map)

Your team can gain the upper hand over the map if the C and D Sectors are on your side. You can take your time in getting them and set up defenses on the sectors first near your base.

Sniper Shootouts

The Orbital map has a lot of slopes and high grounds, making it suitable for sniping. Look for a good spot you can camp and take out enemies. A perfect location for that is the B1 Sector for the 128-Player Map and the A1 Sector for the 64-Player Map.

Breakthrough Tips

Map Favors the Defending Team

The Breakthrough map of Orbital highly favors the defending team. The beginning and middle sectors are all high ground, giving too much advantage for the defenders. A solid, coordinated assault will work on capturing the sectors, but the chances it will be difficult against a well-fortified defense.

However, once the attackers pass through that, it will be smooth sailing for them as they will now have the high ground.

Aerial Support is Needed for Attackers

Aircraft will play a big role for the attacking team, as the defenders have the higher ground. Players riding them must kill and destroy enemy vehicles so that players on foot will have an easier time pushing through. They will also be the key to securing the B sectors, as the objective is on the rooftop.

Use Sniper and Marksman Weapons

You can take out enemy soldiers one by one using a sniper or marksman gun. It will be easy for you to snipe on this map because of the elevation. It works equally well for both defenders and attackers.
