How to use the EMG-X Scanner Specailty

360 Degrees in a 30m Radius

The scanner can detect all enemies up to 30 meters around you. You can take advantage of this as you climb stairs or as you rappel up ziplines! Do note, however, that allies will not be able to see enemies through walls as you do.

Flush Out Enemies in Sectors

The scanner is an excellent tool in finding hidden enemies tucked away in sectors. Her specialty also makes it a tool that's excellent for both taking and defending sectors.

Use Smoke as Cover and Push Enemies

You can use smoke grenades as cover as you rush unsuspecting enemies. You can also simply use the scanner to shoot through the smoke, but this requires good reaction time since enemies only get highlighted each time the scanner pulses.

Reveals Paik in the Entire Map

There are a few major downsides when Paik uses the EMG-X Scanner. Targets scanned will hear and receive a notification for Paik's ability. Paik will also receive a live ping on the entire enemy team's minimap, similar to being spotted, while the scanner is active. Using the EMG-X scanner can be very dangerous when used in open areas since aircraft and vehicles will easily spot her.

How to Use the Threat Perception Trait and Explanation

Find the Enemy up to 350 Meters

The Threat Perception trait is easily one of the most powerful passives in the game. Any enemy that damages you from up to 350+ meters will be highlighted on your HUD. This trait is an excellent tool to either get to behind cover or shoot back. Keep in mind that the trait will only highlight one enemy at a time.
