How to Use the Fortification System Specialty

Use the Shootdown Sentinel to Destroy Incoming Explosives

The Shootdown Sentinel is a powerful tool that will help keep around a 3-meter radius area clear from any incoming grenades or rockets. This object will not expire unless destroyed or picked up by Irish. You can use this specialty by toggling through your specialty button.

Zero in on Enemies Through the Two Way Glass

The Deployable Cover is a bulletproof object with glass panels. This is an excellent tool to peek around corners safely or a quick way to get your bearing and find the enemy who is shooting you. Be careful though, as this cannot stop explosives like grenades or rockets from destroying it.

There can only be a max of two Fortification Systems deployed at a time, so choose carefully or just deploy one of each!

How to Use the Veteran Trait and Explanation

Spawn With 10 Extra Armor

When Irish spawns, he will get 10 bonus armor. This can help you shave off a few bullets that would have otherwise taken your life!

Picking up Ammo Pouches Gives 5 Armor

When a soldier dies, they will drop a small ammo pouch. These ammo pouches will have a small icon on top of it when you get close. Thanks to Irish's trait, he can gain 5 armor every time he picks up one of these pouches. Your HUD will also display that Irish's Veteran Trait was activated when you pick up an ammo pouch. This can come in clutch for close-range scenarios where there might be another hidden enemy around the corner.

Best Loadouts for Irish

This build capitalizes on Irish's Veteran Trait as an assault-type unit. As you continue to win gunfights and pick up ammo pouches, you will need to use Med Pen's to recover your health faster. Since you are fighting in close ranges, you will need to use close-range weapons like SMGs or Shotguns, while the Prox Sensor will help you find more enemies.

Whenever you need a breather, use your Deployable Cover or Shootdown Sentinel to recuperate and continue the fight.

Even though you can pick up armor as a way to recover health, you will only be able to store 20 points of it. This is why having a medic close by can help. With Falck in your team, she can refill your missing health and revive you back to full HP.
