Prox Sensor is one of the most used items in the game. It shows all enemies on the minimap near where you dropped it and marks their heads when you see them. However, it won't tell you if enemies are above or below you. It works well with Paik's EMG-X Scanner and Casper's Movement Sensor.
You can also use the Prox Sensor to gain an absurd amount of XP in a battle to level up fast.
